Our
second mission is to bring together a group of like-minded
individuals and providers with a second goal: to take a
fragmented investment community, and their clients, and
give form to an emerging and mainstream industry. This includes
non-traditional, non-traded investments in businesses and
real estate that have a history of superior performance
to equities and other investment funds.
Our
third goal is to help bridge the apparent gap between traded
and non-traded assets. The addition of our new co-producer,
Wealth Manager Magazine, speaks to this
growing maturity. Only the most immature see portfolio investment
in stocks, bonds, and mutual funds as competing with a family’s
investment in real estate and personal businesses. Professional
licensing, jurisdictions, and fee structures appear to confirm
this gap. A collateral goal is to discuss and propose solutions
to this apparent contradiction in serving the best interest
of the investor client.
Our
theme is Recharge Your Returns. The conference
is for the individual client or the professional that advises
and manages that portfolio. We will introduce to you strategies,
processes and providers who can help you close the gap between
your savings, and your lifestyle income requirements.
We
offer three tracks over these two days to introduce you
to the subject of alternative and complementary retirement
plan investments, how to do it, and who you can turn to
for immediate help. We also offer an intermediate plan for
those attendees who have already embraced this strategy,
and an expert track for professionals and others who wish
to understand the opportunities and the finer points of
alternative investment strategies.
There
is no secret that non-traded assets, in the form of investment
grade real estate, are by far the best performing long-term
assets. Equities broker and Schwab’s Chief Investment
Strategist, Liz Ann Sonders, states that “since 1929,
the average American house has an unbroken record of appreciation.”
